摘要：

The objective of this paper is to discuss issues related to language politics, specifically regarding the Law 11.161/2005, which provides for the mandatory offer Spanish Language's matter in Brazilian schools. The research is justified by a glance at a subject that has, in recent years, occupied part of the discussions and educational politics in Brazil. Furthermore, by tracking how (not) have been fulfilled the Spanish Law. The study analyzes the data had be obtain from an official organ from the Parano's Secretariat of Education, Brazil, making a comparison between the years 2010 and 2012.
