Strategic management of technological innovation in the process of linking University Social Environment

摘要
The purpose of this research was to provide strategic guidelines for technological innovation, for the university dependencies of the University of Zulia, which are linked to the social environment. It is a descriptive, field research, with a sample represented by nine centers and research institutes. Among the results, the main innovation activity is the training of human resources and research projects as the first product, a range to which the largest budget item is assigned. Regarding the link with the social environment, this is affected, since there is no technological marketing between the products and services that the university has the capacity to offer. In relation to the factors that affect or not the innovation process in the university dependencies, the availability of financing, costs, information and the intellectual property system are the most affecting factors in the innovative process, followed by the structure, the legislations and regulations.
