CONSERVED QUANTITIES IN EINSTEIN-MAXWELL THEORY

摘要
It is shown that the 10 gravitationally-conserved quantities defined in asymptotically flat, empty, spacetimes are, when suitably modified, also conserved in asymptotically flat Einstein-Maxwell space-times. Furthermore, the implied selection rules for transitions between stationary Einstein-Maxwell states are the same as those in the pure gravitational case. † Andrew Mellon Fellow.
