摘要:
The title host compound, 10,11-dihydro-5-phenyl-5H-dibenzo[a,d]cyclohepten-5-ol 1, crystallizes in the non-porous alpha-phase without hydrogen bonding. The beta-phases of its dioxane 2 and acetone 3 complexes are stabilized by hydrogen bonds between host and guest. Thermal analysis of the two inclusion compounds gives qualitative correlation with their structures and a relative measure of their stabilities.
