摘要
A simplified linear state-space model for a multimachine power system is presented. The basic assumptions for the generators are the same as used in the well known Heffron-Phillips model for a single machine on an infinite bus. However, the model is structure-preserving and accounts for loads modelled as functions of voltage and frequency. The usefulness of the model in studying the dependence of small-disturbance stability on operating conditions, load model parameters and exciter gain is demonstrated. A detailed study of the one-machine special case is also given. This leads to a modification of the original Heffron-Phillips model to allow for a non-linear load rather than the usual impedance load. © 1990.
