摘要
The properties of synchronously pumped mode-locked cw dye lasers are specified in terms of system parameters. The pulse duration is shown to be determined by 1 3 power of the gain modulation strength and inverse 2 3 power of the bandwidth of frequency tuning element. In addition, the effect of cavity detuning is explicitly discussed. © 1978.
