SUBSTANTIATION OF APPROXIMATION OF A LONG POLYMETHINE CHAIN WITH ATTRACTION OF THE GREEN-FUNCTIONS FORMALISM

General relations for shifts of separate levels in the quasi-continuous spectrum and for the corresponding wave-functions are found for a system involving a locally joint fragment by means of the quantum-mechanical Green functions. The developed approach enables generalization of the quasi-long chain approximation earlier accepted in the theory of polymethine dyes.
