摘要：

Error bounds are obtained for an asymptotic expansion of the ratio of two gamma functions GAMMA(z + a)/GAMMA(z + b) when a and b are complex constants and \z\ is large. These bounds reduce to earlier bounds for the real case when a, b, and z are real. Properties of completely monotonic functions are used to provide error bounds in the complex case, as in the earlier real case.
