摘要:
Thirty-nine infants, grouped into high-risk (HR) low birth-weight (LBW), low-risk (LR) LBW, and full-term (FT) groups, were observed longitudinally to assess the development at joint attention skills across the first 2 years of life. The HR infants showed deficits in exploratory and communicative joint attention responses, whereas the IR infants showed deficits in communicative responses only. Mothers of the three groups also used attention-directing strategies that were associated with the infants' risk status and age.
