摘要
The aim of this research was to investigate the relationship between school burnout, depression and anxiety among high school students. The descriptive and predictive relationships between these factors were studied. Convenience sampling was employed for selection of the study group. The study group consisted of 712 students attending high schools located in a provincial centre. School burnout inventory and depressive symptoms inventory were used for data collection. Correlation and regression analyses were used to analyse the data obtained by the research. The analyses detected positive and significant relationships between school burnout and depression and anxiety. In addition, school burnout was found to be a significant predictor of depression and anxiety. In light of the research findings, school burnout can be regarded as an important risk factor for depression and anxiety.
