摘要
Electron mobility in electroactive polymers, measured as the diffusion coefficient D//e, can be measured by depositing the polymer over fingers and insulating gap of an interdigitated array electrode (IDA) and adjusting the electrode potentials so as to oxidize and reduce the polymer film at opposing, adjacent finger electrodes. A parallel plate theory for D//e and the limiting current flow through the polymer film in the IDA gap is evaluated with Prussian Blue as the exemplary electroactive material. The theory accurately describes experimental behavior for electrodeposited films thick enough to give uniform coatings within the 2. 5- mu m gap but thinner than the 2. 5- mu m gap.
