Key Clinical Message Given the current understanding of bleomycin-induced pneumonitis (BIP), the use of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) inhibitors such as infliximab for late-stage disease appears to be of limited benefit. Further research regarding prevention and management of advanced BIP is required.
