摘要：

This work presents an investigation of the distribution of turbulent energy in the river mouth and its role in the transport of the matter within the flow. The experimental observations were performed in the River Jordan inflow into the Lake Kinneret. The results were generalized to formulate a conceptual model of the turbulent energy characteristics, specific for the river mouth. This model was extended to include the dispersion coefficients for turbulent flow downstream the river mouth.
