摘要
The dynamical evolution of QCD structure functions from low resolution scales is discussed. In particular, we examine the prescription of Barone et al., who evolve a valence-quark input from Q2=0. We parallel their formalism with the traditional leading-logarithm approach and make apparent a number of serious objections. We also discuss briefly the approach of Gluck et al., who claim to make serious QCD based predictions in the small x region.
