CONSTRUCT-VALIDITY OF THE SHORT FORMS OF THE DYADIC ADJUSTMENT SCALE

摘要：
We investigated which of 4 proposed short form substitutes conserves the construct validity of the full Dyadic Adjustment Scale (DAS). Using data from 196 married or cohabiting Canadians, we examined internal consistency values, corrected item-total correlations, and the pattern of relations of the full- and short-form versions with a range of relationship measures. Both the Satisfaction subscale and a 7-item version appear to have promise as adequate substitutes for the full DAS.
