摘要
As-melt-spun anisotropy of Nd-Fe-B-M (M is 0.5 to 3 at% Cr or Mo/W/Mn/Co/Ni) flakes was studied. It was found that 1 at% addition of Mo or Mn, Co results in much higher remanence and maximum energy product measured normal to the flake surface than that parallel, from flakes obtained at moderate wheel speeds, V(s), of 10 to 12m/s. Field-aligned and resin-bonded -325 mesh powders ground from the 1 at% Mo or Mn/Co added flakes (V(s) = 10 m/s) showed 79% or 45/33% higher remanence measured along the field direction with respective to along the perpendicular direction. The deteriorated coercivity of the powders due to grinding can be 70 to 100% restored by etching in dilute nitric add solution. Hence, these flakes may be readily applicable to anisotropic resin bond magnets.
