摘要
This article analyzes the impact that the decriminalization of abortion and the amendment to the Sanitary Law, which resulted in the legal and safe access to abortion in Mexico City on 2007. Particularly, we will refer to the amendments that have incorporated the protection of life from the moment of conception. Based in the aloved mentionet, we identify the International Human Rights Law standards related to this matter, which allow us to sustain that the protection of prenatal life and the rights of the pregnant woman are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
