摘要
The presentation of cauda equina syndrome secondary to epidural compression in the lumbar spine is well documented in the medical literature, with the differential diagnosis of the inciting agent including herniated lumbar disc, traumatic com pression by retropulsed bony fragments, and metastatic disease.16, 24 The incidence of central nervous system involvement by non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is well documented in the literature.4, 9, 12’14’17’20 The presented case, however, is unique when viewed from the perspective of presenting symptoms, magnetic resonant imaging (MRI), and microscopic pathology. © 1993, J.B.
