Freezing of Decay of a Quantum System with a Dip in a Spectrum of the Heat Bath-Coupling Constants

摘要
The interaction of a quantum system with a heat bath, given a dip in the coupling constants spectrum, was shown to result in the stabilization ("freezing") of the quantum system. We showed that the heat bath acts as a dissipation basin and instrument delaying the decay in a quantum Zeno effect at the same time. A series of systems is suggested where this effect can be observed.
