摘要
Kierkegaard profoundly influenced Kafka' s thinking and works. They are similar in some aspects, but they are also essentially different from each other. They both are solitude', but the reason, aim and ways of their solitudes are different. Dread is the concept that Kierkegaard could not cast off all his life. And Kafka' s works could be seen as an imaginary depiction about this very concept developed by Kierkegaard. Kierkegaard prayed, because of his Christian faith; Kafka wrote, which could be regarded as a way of praying.
