摘要
Results are presented from an experimental and theoretical study of the dissociation of hydrogen sulfide in an electric arc plasma reactor. The possibility of highly efficient decomposition of hydrogen sulfide with energy expenditures close to those attained in microwave and rf discharges is demonstrated. It is shown that a considerable reduction in the energy expenditure for obtaining hydrogen compared to that in a quasi-equilibrium process is attained in a reactor with tangential gas feed as a result of a centrifugal effect.
