摘要
In this paper, we introduce the concept of T-asymptotically regular mapping and establish a lemma for epsilon-fixed points of two commuting mappings in metric spaces. This lemma is used for proving approximate fixed point theorems for various types of contraction mappings in the framework of metric spaces. Our results in this paper extends and improves upon, among others, the corresponding results of Berinde given in [2].
