摘要
Four phases are described of the development of stress states in connection with the loss of job. The paper shows on vast statistical material the frequency of diseases and accidents of the unemployed people. A parallel is drawn with the description of stress in general psychology (Selye). Some ways of coping with stress and control over it are considered. Alcoholism, suicides, divorces, crimes are qualified as a consequence of social stress.
