摘要
The paper deals with preparation of a flotation agent from high-sulfur brown coal. The coal is first pyrolyzed and the pyrolytic liquid product is applied as an alternative flotation agent in the flotation of black-coal slurry, while the aim of the experiment is to obtain flotation concentrate with ash content below 10 %. A sample of brown coal is also treated by means of biodesulfurization in order to determine whether the content of sulfur has any influence on the flotation yields.
