DYNAMIC SURFACE TENSION OF SODIUM DODECYL SULFATE SOLUTIONS

摘要
The influence of temperature and added electrolytes on the dynamic surface tension of sodium dodecyl sulfate solutions was examined with the oscillating jet method. An increase in temperature increased the initial rate of surface tension lowering but had little effect at longer times. Added electrolytes increased the rate at longer times but had little effect on the initial rate of surface tension lowering. Bivalent cations exerted greater effect than monovalent ones. © 1969.
