摘要
In the following interview the journalist Eliane Brum from Rio Grande do Sul (Gaucha) describes her method of work. Eliane is the author of profiles, reports, books and documentaries that received about 60 awards in Brazil and abroad. Here she explains how the ideas of the briefing emerge and how she finds the interviewees. She also talks about his unique way of interviewing and about the relationship with the interviewees, that often does not end with the publication of the text. Going upstream of most superficial conceptions of journalism, she says that she prefers to listen rather than ask, (and she says) that her interviews are always long -because they last the time that the interviewee needs - and she is still being transformed by each report she makes.
