摘要：
Tongue base tumors are not common, they are mostly malignant and although the rarity of mucoepidermoid carcinoma of tongue base, it constitutes more than 50% of malignant lesions of salivary glands in this region. In this report, we present a 15-year old girl with mucoepidermoid carcinoma of tongue base with discussion of histopathological types of the tumor and its management. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ireland Ltd.
