Small scale for large dimension. Micro-architecture systems for the temporary city of Civitanova Marche

The article presents the results of the first stages of a research, based on the issue of temporariness as a reference for small scale interventions in the urban and environmental regeneration of the "Adriatic city" (Bianchetti, 2002). The study is structured into two sections: the first section describes the cultural and scientific areas of interest in which the theme of temporariness is outlined, in order to begin the process of innovative transformation of the living city, alternative to the prescriptive urban planning instruments. The second part describes the research methodology which aims to enable, with small scale interventions, significant changes to the urban context of the city of Civitanova Marche.
