The essence of labour migration, the need and possibility of these processes, their acquisition of certain features of globalization are discovered in the article. The condition of the current stage of international labour migration and Ukraine's participation in it are analyzed in it. The need and possibilities of international labour migration in the world and in Ukraine, particularly, are paid much attention to. Increasing the efficiency of Ukraine's participation in the processes of international labor migration and improving the state migration policy of Ukraine are proposed.
