摘要
The 35 MeV electron linear accelerator, installed at the University of Tokyo in 1977, was designed in order to generate microsecond pulse beams for the nuclear reactor experiments, and also nanosecond and picosecond pulse beams for the stroboscopic radiolysis. Specially, to the latter case, a nanosecond pulse electron gun and its pulser, and a subharmonic buncher had been newly developed. It was successful to generate the stable electron beam of minimum pulse width 18 ps and charge 1 nC in the output beam. © 1979, Atomic Energy Society of Japan. All rights reserved.
