The paper describes a study aimed at analyzing the situation of personal meanings construction in adolescents. The role of cultural contents learned in educational process is analyzed. The procedure of leading adolescents through problem situations, allowing them to assess the stability of meanings and the process of their deployment in thinking, communication and activity, is considered separately. The objective of the article is to outline a general model of working with teenagers' meanings that are related to their planned and expected future. Examples of such a work in accordance with the model in education are provided. The object of the study comprises the meanings of building a new cultural space in the 21st century in teenagers, their formation, access to culture and to the development of the project activities on the basis of these meanings. It is concluded that the method of mental working through the problems of political, informational and technological structure of culture in the future defines the process of values and meanings formation in adolescents.
