EXPERIMENTAL-STUDY ON FIBER ORIENTATION IN INJECTION-MOLDING OF FIBER RE-INFORCED CERAMICS

摘要
A model composite material for injection moulding of ceramics including short fibers has been proposed. In this material, fiber orientation can be measured easily from intensity distribution of beam, which is diffracted at fibers. Flow and fiber orientation in fundamental channel configuration is examined by the use of this model material and it was found that this method is useful for brief understanding of that kind of phenomena.
