摘要
Corrosion prediction is an important element in the planning of work over of producing oil and gas wells as well as in materials selection for new pipelines. The results of predictions may have a large economic impact on projects in the conceptual phase of design, and hence a bearing on the economic viability of the projects. Over the last few years, there has been increasing interest in the development of prediction tools and computer modelling techniques, particularly for applications in offshore production of oil and gas. This paper review the current thinking with regard to the developments and application of various computer-based models for use in the prediction of materials performance in crude oil production environments.
