摘要
The defect imaging capability of a pulsed video thermography system is assessed by detailed quantitative analysis of its performance in imaging a set of well characterized artificial defects in a steel test-piece. An analytical model is presented which provides an understanding of the imaging process. A method is proposed for the determination of defect depth by exploiting the temporal dependences of images.
