摘要：

Recent experimental data have brought a lot of interesting information on the properties of light neutron-rich nuclei. These results provide the possibility of studying some details of the many-body problem in nuclei having a large neutron excess. The author revisits previous calculations based on the density functional method. Special emphasis is put on the position of the neutron drip line, and on the evolution of the nuclear radii with neutron number.
