摘要
The aim of this article is to analyze the process of identity, power and cultural and anthropologic symbology that we can study from a literary perspective. Therefore, this article includes a postcolonial Caribbean view, concretely, inspired by the post colonial studies in which we can consider The Mimic Men, a literary work written by the Nobel Prize (2001) V. S. Naipaul. To conclude, this article pretends to analyze the sense of identity in Trinidad y Tobago's island, to offer an interpretation about postcolonial Caribbean view.
