摘要
Large-scale digital memories have made it feasible to apply digital signal-processing techniques, such as frame comb filtering or interframe recursive filtering, to enhance the quality of television images. Such frame-memory-based systems require reliable, sophisticated motion detectors in order to overcome motion artifacts resulting from temporal differences between the delayed and undelayed images during motion periods. This paper describes several motion-detection algorithms and introduces some new concepts in the use of array-based detectors for motion-adaptive digital signal-processing systems.
