THERMOELECTRIC-POWER OF BI2SR2CACU2O8 SINGLE-CRYSTALS WITH VARYING OXYGEN STOICHIOMETRY

摘要
We report on the in - plane (Sab) and the out - of - plane (Sc) thermoelectric power of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 single crystals below 300 K. The Sab has been measured as a function of the oxygen stoichiometry. Our interpretation of the results is based on a model in which there is a narrow peak in the density of states of the charge carriers near the Fermi level. © 1990.
