摘要
High levels of microwave power can be controlled effectively by a modulator that uses extended-base pin structures. The rise and fall times of a microwave pulse are 12-mu-sec and 5-mu-sec, respectively, when 2A505 pin diodes are used with a forward bias of 1.2 V and a reverse bias of - 30 V Other bias voltages are optimum for other types of diodes.
