摘要：
Facile C-C cleavage is demonstrated to occur upon treatment of {(depe)NiBr}2(mu-Z,Z-PhC = CHCH = CPh) with TlPF6. The implications of this reaction for the Reppe cyclotetramerization of alkynes are discussed.
