摘要
The predictor factors of functional independence on rehabilitation have been researched in several fields of knowledge such as medicine, physical therapy and occupational therapy. This review discusses some researches published in the period of 2005-2007 about predictors of functionality for the Activities of Daily Living (ADL) with patients after stroke. The results indicated as important predictors: gender, race, ethnicity and stroke severity, types of treatment and early treatment, motor skills (strength, muscular endurance) and also cognition.
