ABSORPTION-EDGE AND THERMOREFLECTANCE STUDIES OF CDGA2SE4

摘要
The thermoreflectance and absorption spectra of thiogallate, CdGa2Se4, in polarized light are reported. The direct nature of the fundamental energy gap is confirmed. The crystal field splitting of the valence band is found to be opposite to that in chalcopyrite. The spin-orbit and crystal field parameters are 0.42 eV and 0.13 eV at 90 K, respectively. A tentative interpretation of the higher-energy structures in the thermoreflectance is given. © 1979.
