摘要
In the present paper a method is described which enables the interlaminar surface area of graphite and its products of cold oxidation to be determined, from their respective densities and the parameter c. A study is made of the variation of the density during the oxidizing attack and its repercussion on the interlaminar surface area of the samples of mineralogical and artificial graphite, both ultrapure, The relative decrease of the interlaminar surface area of the oxidized samples, compared with the interlaminar surface area of the original graphite calculated by the same method, is equal to the percentage of carbon determined analytically in the case of the products most intensely oxidized. Finally a comparison of the experimental values of the density with those deduced theoretically shows appreciable differences in the partially oxidized products of one graphite and of the other. © 1969.
