COLOR AS A COMPOSITIONAL ELEMENT IN LANDSCAPE DESIGN

There are different aspects on the study of colors, especially in project implementation. This study shows the relevance of color contrast for vegetal selection and its applicability in landscape design. Considering technical knowledge and creation, there are doubts about the application of colors in landscapes created. The definition of the approaches to the subject and the need for their knowledge is important for defining the color plates and, consequently, the choice of vegetation. The application of color begins embryonic, in an imaginative way, when visiting the site and develops different contours, while advancing in architectural design thinking. It appears in the bowels of the graphical representation in the selection of vegetation and their proportions. We believe that in this study, we demonstrate a method to define the color plates and selection of plants. The differential is a chance to explore the application of color to create landscapes that encourage human perception, not only to promote well-being, but also to encourage those who have difficulties in visual perception.
