摘要
Harmonic composition of electric mains under operation of single-phase inverter and transformer welding power sources hasbeen investigated. It is revealed that the inverter power sources generate a wide spectrum of major current harmonics. especially zero-sequence currents, in the mains, which worsens their electromagnetic compatibility and requires application of major current harmonics filters. The transformer power sources generate considerably-smaller current harmonics and are characterized by good electromagnetic compatibility.
