SPACE: A New Synthesis of Ideas for Organizational Turnaround

摘要
SPACE emerges from literature of organizational turnaround (OT) as a new synthesis of ideas. This synthesis produces a multi-dimensional model for OT built upon the foundations of five key idea sets, with the potential of offering a powerful diagnostic tool for service organizations: strategy; positioning; value; co-production and enabling logic. SPACE is demonstrated through application to a range of projects and organizations including: NHS Direct; Liverpool Congestion Charge; NYPD (New York Police Department); Sure Start and the proposed National Drugs Service (NDS).
