摘要
Since 2003, the National Commission on Informatics and Liberties (CNIL) has adopted recommendations which guarantee minimum e-voting requirements. CNIL influence's on French election law making has generated an adequate level on voters data protection (guarantee vote validity, the secrecy of vote and voting accessibility), even voting via the internet, and a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities for technical service providers. The 2012 parliamentary elections enable to vote online French citizens who live abroad, and provide information to the CNIL for the specific purpose of identifying improvement opportunities to ensure a more consistent application of the French Data Protection Act.
