摘要
In 1993, NKK constructed the world's first production line of 0.5% silicon thin gauge steel sheets in coil form using the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method, with a thickness range 0.1-0.3 mm, and production capacity of 100 tonnes/month. The product is non-oriented, and exhibits excellent soft magnetic properties, a high-frequency core loss W1/10k of 9.25 W/kg for a thickness of 0.1 mm. In addition, the product has good workability. The bending radius of the product with a thickness of 0.1 mm is less than 2 mm, so that it is easily formed into core shapes even with nearly right-angled corners.
