摘要：
Functional brain imaging has a large field of application in the study of dementias. We propose a review of the literature on brain perfusion studies with single emission computerized tomography (SPECT) in frequent and rare types of dementia. at present, the most widely used brain perfusion tracer is Tc-99m-HMPAO; in vivo kinetics, methodological difficulties and clinical results with this radio-labelled compound are analysed.
