EFFECTS OF BACTERIA INOCULATION (AZOSPIRILLUM AND PSEUDOMONAS FLUORESCENS) ON IMPROVING SOME GROWTH CHARACTERISTICS OF BARLEY

摘要
The study was carried out in the laboratories of the Department of Soil and Water Resources at the Faculty of Agriculture, Al-Muthanna University. The current study included the effect of two isolates of Pseudomonas fluorescens (A1, A2) and Azosprillum spp. (P1, P2) in addition to control treatments A0P0 (without vaccination), to study their effect on growth indicators of barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) Science Autumn season 2017-2018. The research was carried out using the complete randomised design (CRD) with four-replicated in each treatment. The differences between the mean of the treatments were compared with the least significant difference (L.S.D.) at a probability level of 0.05. The results show the significant superiority of all isolates over control treatment, The A1 isolate was significantly higher in plant height, leaf area and dry weight reached (73.6cm, 17.56 branches, 9.50 g) respectively. P2isolate was significantly higher in leaf area and dry weight (17.93cm2, 9.061g) respectively. The interaction treatment (A2P2) significantly increased on plant height, number of branches, leaf area and dry weight reached (77.50 cm, 5.08 branch, plant-1, 18.62cm2, 10.15 g) respectively.
